BAM!!! THANK YOU, my beloved sister in Christ. “I AM RIGHT WHERE I NEED TO BE.” DOUBLE BAM, BAM!!! Hhhmmm…think, Think, THINK…
Have I ever mentioned that I am surrounded by some pretty GREAT teammates???!!!???!!!???!!! HA!!! I sure have!!! And I sure am!!! Well, I ran into one such teammate just the other day, folks. And something absolutely MAGICAL happened!!! I feel another trip comin’ on, folks. And I invite you to come along “WITH” me. WOO-WHOOOOOO!!! BUCKLE- UP. We’re heading on in to “Jill-ville”!!! DOUBLE WOO-WHOOOOOO, WOO-WHOOOOOO!!!
BAM!!! Yep, I ran into a “FRIEND” I haven’t seen in awhile after Sunday morning’s church service. We immediately hugged (Pppsssttt…she’s a hugger too!!!) and began “catching-up”. Upon discussing my current issues, she hit me SQUARELY between BOTH eyes with ONE simple question!!! OUCH!!! It hit me hard enough to knock me off guard, however, the response that came out of “SOMEWHERE” deep within me …???…???…???…ABSOLUTELY moved mountains…in “Jill-ville”. BAM!!! “I AM RIGHT WHERE I NEED TO BE.” WOW. “I GET IT,” my friend. Better today than yesterday, but not nearly as good as tomorrow. THANK-YOU, JESUS!!!
Chaplain (MAJOR) Pete Keough even said “IT” during the very service I was just leaving AFTER hearing “IT” for the SECOND time in 2 days!!! Aaahhhhhh!!! “IT”…???…???…???…did NOT sink in right away, but evidence of it’s impact was apparent in the very words I spoke to my “FRIEND”/teammate, “I AM RIGHT WHERE I NEED TO BE”. Hhhmmm…think, Think, THINK…
So, what did Pete say, you might be wondering…???…???…???… Now, I find this to be “AMAZING,” folks. He made a simple statement. I’ve heard “IT” before and/or read “IT”…SOMEWHERE. I am ABSOLUTELY certain I already KNEW “IT”. BUT…I didn’t “REALLY” know “IT” until AFTER hearing Pete say “IT” his way. In his manner. And then having a special friend asking a simple QUESTION to ignite my realization of “IT”. So without further a-say , here “IT” is, folks:
*”SOMETIMES GOD NEEDS TO DISRUPT OUR FAITH.” (I even put a star by this statement he made as I scribbled “IT” in my bulletin, thus the reasoning behind adding the star prior to the statement typed above.) 😉
“I GET IT,” folks!!! The daily DIFFICULTIES, or disruptions, we face are meant to throw us off a bit…WHILE allowing us to “SHINE” God’s light. EMBRACE DIFFICULTIES AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GROW IN CHRIST. I GET IT!!! I GET IT!!! I GET IT!!! Better today than yesterday(LITERALLY), but not nearly as good as tomorrow. WOO-WHOOOOOO!!!
GO TEAM!!! WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!!
P.H.P., folks. People Helping People.
Give the BEST of yourself for “JUST” today…“EVERY” day!!!
ALL GLORY BE TO GOD!!! AMEN.
