“IF ONLY…”

BAM!!!  Pastor Walter began today’s sermon discussing an idea that we’ve ALL had a time or two in our lives:  “IF ONLY….” If ONLY I had done “THIS” then things may have gone differently.  If ONLY I had DONE “THAT”.  “IF ONLY…IF ONLY…IF ONLY!!!”  OUCH!!!

I must admit that I’ve lived MANY of my 51 years in that mind-set, folks.  “IF ONLY.”  Hhhmmm…funny how that phrase still brings tears to my eyes “TODAY” for different reasons than of yesterday (years ago).

Thank you, Jesus.  I am who I am BECAUSE of where I’ve been and how I responded to situations while simply seeking to survive my “LIFE”.  My heart aches, folks…IN A GOOD WAY!!!  AMEN.

I later cried in church during a gentleman’s testimony about the years of depression he has fought…and survived.  He described himself as being “NUMB”.  WHAT???!!!???!!!???!!!  Are you serious??? That gentleman’s “NUMB” = my state of “NOTHINGNESS”.  I went right over to him after church, shook his hand and thanked him for sharing.

GO TEAM!!!  WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!!

P.H.P., folks.  People Helping People.

Give the BEST of yourself for “JUST” today…”EVERY” day!!!

ALL GLORY BE TO GOD!!!  AMEN.
