By an angel.
WOO-WHOOOOOO!!! Thurs, 11/19/15 was such an AMAZING day at work, folks!!! I, specifically, enjoyed an afternoon treatment session with a VERY special patient who is currently faced with a LIFE/DEATH decision regarding a VERY fast-moving cancer…
Surgery??? Or no surgery??? Hhhmmm…think, Think, THINK…
DIFFICULT DECISION, folks. There are so, So, SO many things to be considered. She spoke of both options, stating: “I don’t think I want to have the surgery, but I don’t want to be viewed as weak if I give up the fight.” WHAT???!!!???!!!???!!! Yep, this amazing woman is worried about NOT fighting hard enough to continue living “LIFE”…even if living means more suffering.
Hhhmmm…sadly, I know that I have NEVER feared death…in my warped way of viewing “LIFE”. My eyes have been opened yet AGAIN, folks. I am now able to see the enormity of LIFE’s value enough to appreciate the strength required in fighting to survive it as opposed to the fear of succumbing to death in order to escape it. Hhhmmm…think, Think, THINK…. Now, “THAT”…is very, Very, VERY DEEP, folks.
My life has, DEFINITELY, been touched by an angel…AGAIN…on the job as an OTA/L in our rehab. dept. at MCNRC. Yep, I am certain there is a previous post back there, SOMEWHERE, about one or more patient(s) with angelic qualities that I have been blessed to encounter…at work. WOO-WHOOOOOO!!! I absolutely love, Love, LOVE my “J-O-B,” folks??? I do, I Do, I DO!!! DOUBLE WOO-WHOOOOOO, WOO-WHOOOOOO!!!
GO TEAM!!! WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!!
P.H.P., People Helping People.
Give the BEST of yourself for “JUST” today…”EVERY” day!!!
ALL GLORY BE TO GOD!!! AMEN.
