in “JILL’S WORLD”!!!  I simply do NOT know what happened, folks.  I completed the previous post with additional info. regarding our family fun night, LAST NIGHT, downtown St. Augustine!!!  Well…what happened to the extended version of that post???  IT’S GONE!!!  Hhhmmm…now, I printed off that post in its entirety…I have an actual copy of it!!!  But…there  is only a shortened version of that blog post online!!!  WHAT???!!!???!!!???!!!  How did that happen???  COMPUTERS DO NOT LIKE ME, folks!!!  I must now add another post about our evening adventure downtown, 9/5/15.  READY???  READY!!!  HERE WE GO…

So around 9:00pm on Sat., 9/5/15 we, TEAM ALLEN, headed down to enjoy the festivities at St. Augustine’s 450th celebration!!!  BAM!!!  AMAZING!!!  “Just think kids, WE…LIVE HERE!!!”  Hhhmmm… we sure seem to say that ALOT whenever we’re out-and-about enjoying “LIFE”…here in St. Augustine, FL.  It’s difficult to explain, but living here makes it difficult to enjoy the vacationing side of visiting here.

So, the ENTIRE downtown historic section was completely blocked off from motorized traffic, except for safety and security vehicles.  It sure felt…???…???…???  “WEIRD,” but “FUN” to walk in, down and across the middle of streets with pedestrians EVERYWHERE.  ALL of us headed from “HERE” to “THERE”… “TOGETHER,” yet apart!!!  😉

There’s a HUGE stage just as you enter the historic city over the Bridge of Lions from the island.  I watched a GIGANTIC video screen to see the band’s live performance Sat. night leading up to the Fireworks display at 11:00pm.  Now, this fireworks display occurred right over the intracoastal waterway by Fort Matanzas.  It was sure AMAZING!!!  WOO-WHOOOOOO!!!  The entire crowd watched in awe.  My son, Chase, mocked my vocalizations:  “Ooohhh, Aaahhh, BAM!!!”  But I was NOT alone, folks!!!  There were many others vocalizing right along with me!!!  “Ooohhh, Aaahhh, BAM!!!”  DOUBLE WOO-WHOOOOOO, WOO-WHOOOOOO!!!

Chris and Chase are spending much of this holiday weekend downtown working at a parking lot for Boyscout Troop #345.  I am so proud of ALL the AMAZING “TEAMS” working TOGETHER to make this weekend a success.  From co-workers (TEAM MCNRC); family (TEAM ALLEN); and church (TEAM ABC), as well as the police/EMS men and women; bands; vendors; tourists; locals; etc., etc., etc.  EVERYBODY…EVERYEWHERE!!!  My heart is…???…???…???  “HAPPY,” folks.

I HOPE (Heaven Over-Powering Earth) that you will join me for a Sensational Sunday, 9/6/15, of friendship and fellowship with those teams to which we belong, folks.(Pppsssttt…REMEMBER:  ALL “TEAMS” eventually join TOGETHER to form “TEAM USA” and “TEAM WORLD”.😉  AMEN.

THIS IS A DAY THE LORD HAS MADE.  LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT!!!  What an AMAZING, powerful, prayer-filled day, folks!!!  My co-worker, Cath, brought a “Women Of Faith” bible study guide into work awhile ago for me to take a look at.  “ENCOURAGING ONE ANOTHER” is the title of this study.  “Sounds GREAT Cath,” I said.  Hhhmmm…she kept asking me ALL that morning if I had checked the bible study out so I FINALLY, begrudgingly, sat down to read the back of the study guide…

BAM!!!  A couple lines taken, word-for-word, from the back of this book read as follows:  “God is always with us, and we’re all in this thing together.  So, let’s encourage one another along the way!”  DOUBLE BAM, BAM!!!  WHAT???!!!???!!!???!!!  “We’re all in this [thing] together”???  “So, lets encourage [HELP] one another along the way”???  MGO, folks!!!  I ABOUT FELL RIGHT OVER!!!  I’m certain I let out a screech as soon as I read the above lines from the back of the book!!!

“Aaahhhhhh!!!”  I LOVE IT!!!  “THIS”…is a perfect bible study for us at MCNRC to partake in…TOGETHER!!!  Uniting co-workers through spiritual and motivational team building!!!  WOO-WHOOOOOO!!!  TODAY, 9/5/15, was our first bible study class!!!  A few of us met at Panera Bread from 7-10 a.m., enjoying friendship, fellowship and breakfast…OF COURSE!!!  Panera Bread is sure a FAVORITE here in St. Augustine, FL!!!

What an AMAZING day, folks!!!   And…to “cap it off,” the message at church this evening held GREAT meaning to me, as well.  Rev. Jeremy Bunnell lead the sermon, entitled:  “The Attitude of Repentance” taken from 2Timothy 2:14-26.  Hhhmmm… some bullet points from this sermon regarding what the display of an attitude of repentance should be, included:

2 Timothy 2:14; Galatians 6:1

2 Timothy 2:15; 4:2

2 Timothy 2:24a

2 Timothy 2:25-26

**PRACTICE REPENTANCE** while leaning into Christ.
2 Timothy 2:21; 1 John 1:19; Philippians 3:14

Thank you, Jeremy Bunnell.  I was certain you were speaking directly to “ME,” especially when you said that we should NOT “QUARREL”.  AND…that if [s]he sins we should rebuke him [or her] and if he [or she] repents we should forgive him[her].  I sure needed to  hear tonight’s message.  Now, it is up to me to “PRACTICE” what I heard.  AMEN.
