NOT “MY” WILL…

but, “THY” WILL… BE DONE.  On Earth as it is in Heaven.

Feeling VERY blessed this day, Sun., 7/27/14.

The message, delivered by Pastor Bobby Crum last night at church, was AMAZING!!!  AMAZING GRACE!!!  I cried… ALOT!!!    HAPPY TEARS!!!  I absolutely LOVE when the message at church is so, So, SO personal and meaningful.  Yep, Pastor Bobby Crum was speaking DIRECTLY to “ME” last night!!!  Amen.

The main points?  1.)  KNOW THAT GOD IS WITH YOU.;  2.)  PUT YOUR FAITH IN JESUS, may PEACE be with you.;  3.)  BELIEVE IN THE CONSUMING LOVE OF GOD.

So, what are the action words?   A.  “SURRENDER”… everything to the Lord.  B.  “OVERCOME”… those “difficulties” or challenges faced.

Hhhmmm….  Surrender. Overcome.  Tears are forming in both eyes AGAIN!!!  God tried, for many years, to get my attention.  HE… was ALWAYS there.  I knew that.  I felt that.  I am in the process of surrendering, folks.  And overcoming!!! Oh, how I like the way that sounds…

“I… AM AN OVERCOMER!!!”  WE ALL ARE, folks.  😉

MAY ALL GLORY BE TO GOD!!!  AMEN.

THE ANGER WITHIN…

Chris, Danielle, and Chase had gone to a video game/laser tag/race-car spot called, The Hilltop, one evening in Dover, NH with Chris’ nephew and niece, Andy and Nicole.  I guess there were boys from a baseball team who were also there… CAUSING COMPLETE CHAOS!!!  Very foul mouthed, undisciplined young boys.  Disobeying rules and regulations set by the establishment.  Talking rudely and angrily to others on the property who were simply seeking fun and excitement.  “I”… had stayed back at the hotel to relax… unfortunately.  Oh, how I wish I had been there!!!

So, this baseball team had evidently lost a play-off game earlier that afternoon.  Wait,  “LOSING”… builds character, right?  These young boys were just plain … “MEAN”.  Oh, that’s right.  I said it!!!  “MEAN”!!!  HA!!!  I’m guessing them to be around 11-12 the way my family talked.  “MEAN”… is the worst word I could use to describe boys so young.  DOUBLE HA, HA!!!

And, what about the adults who were, supposedly, supervising these young boys?  JUST AS BAD…IF NOT WORSE!!!  They allowed, encouraged, and even mirrored such horrible behavior.  Can you believe it???  Now, they may have lost an important play-off game, but… P-L-E-A-S-E!!!  WHAT… is this “ANGER”… REALLY about???  Surely, it’s not about losing a game. Played by 11-12 year old boys!!!  I simply don’t buy that.  There is “SOMETHING”… much deeper… that explains what was going on there that night…

“ISSUES,” folks.  MAJOR ISSUES… AT WORK!!!  😉  What is it that allows people to go to a public place and treat complete strangers so horribly?  The words coming out of these young boys’ mouths were unbelievable.  The looks on their faces were of complete anger and hatred.  WHAT???  ARE YOU SERIOUS???  Such anger coming from young boys at a game spot?  A place you go to have fun???  “SOMETHING”… just doesn’t make sense, folks.

Hhhmmm… makes ya wonder.  Young children.  Misbehaving…in such a hateful, angry manner.  Are they representative of our country’s future?  Anger, hatred, disrespect,  selfishness???

I SURE HOPE NOT!!!

PLEASE…”TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELL”.

CHASE’S NEW FAMILY…

My son, Chase, is 15 years old.  I must admit that “craziness”… RUNS IN THE FAMILY!!!  So, I invite you to come along on a journey to Chase’s world…

Ready?  HERE WE GO!!!  Okay, so Chase is pretty athletic.  He has picked-up water and snow-skiing  quite easily during short trips North.  Most of our family vacations to NH occur in the summer, however, Chase absolutely loves snow skiing, as well.

This year, Chase increased his slalom water skiing skills on this huge lake with waves resembling those in the ocean!!!  Much of the water roughness is considered “boat chop” due to other boats on the water.  During a particularly “choppy” skiing attempt, Chase began referring to the toes on his main slolam leg with specific names.  Jennifer was the #1 girl (big toe).  Clear down to Penny(little toe).  “THIS”… was so, So, SOOOOOO funny, folks!!!

He then began speaking to the toes on his other foot.  Now “THESE” toes, well…”THEY”… are boys.  From William(big toe) down to Tim (little toe).  Sorry, I cannot remember all the other names of the girl and boy toes.  I think there was a Stephanie(girl) and a Felix(boy), I believe.  Oh, and Danielle became quite attached to this “other”  family,  as well.  HYSTERICAL, folks!!!  “THIS” was ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL!!!  Oh, AND…I must admit that Chase appeared more confident and skilled after he began calling on the powers of this new family prior to skiing attempts!!!  😉

Folks, it is Sunday, 7/27/14.  We just arrived home yesterday around 1:30 pm.  Chase has already left home… AGAIN … for a week-long Boyscout Leadership training camp!  Miss him already.  He will, surely, return home a different boy next weekend.  It is so, So, SO sad to witness your children growing up so quickly.   And far harder, yet, to let them “grow”… as needed in order to be a productive member of society… ONE FINE DAY!!!

Here is a shout out to all of the families out there… EVERYWHERE… GO TEAM ( insert your family name here)!!!  For me… GO TEAM ALLEN!!!

Please give the BEST of yourself for “JUST” today… “EVERY” day!!!

ALL GLORY BE TO GOD!!!  AMEN.

COMING HOME…

to FL from vacation in NH.  WHEW!!!  What a GREAT VACA!!!  EVERY SINGLE DAY WAS GORGEOUS!!!  We spent each day up at the lake… Lake Winnepesaukee.  Swimming.  Boating.  Eating.  Sunning.  Tubing.  More eating.  Water-skiing.  Canoeing.  MORE EATING!  Fishing.  Chillaxing.  AND, you guessed it… STILL MORE EATING!!!  Oh yeah, I GAINED A “FEW”!!!  😉

Wolfboro, NH is where we vacation, mostly, while in NH.  My sister-in-law is a member and docks her boat at the Wolfboro Corinthian Yacht Club.  BEAUTIFUL LOCATION!!!  The sky is AMAZING there.  The clouds are AMAZING there.  The sun… is AMAZING there, also!!!  We simply LOVE IT… THERE!!!

Mountains can be viewed along the East side of this huge, majestic lake.  Mansions, nice houses, cabins, restaurants, and shops,  are EVERYWHERE.  I’m guessing there are over 100 islands, many with homes/camps, scattered around/within this “lake”.  HA!!!  “LAKE???”  It more resembles the ocean!!!  DOUBLE HA, HA!!!

I think I bonded with Rick at the Yacht Club.  Loui’s Pizza has the BEST PIZZA/Italian food.  Papa’s subs… ARE amazing.  The icecream and homemade cones at a small shop in town are OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD!!!  So, so many shops and eateries.  Wolfboro, NH is such a quaint, quaint tourist town.

So ya see, “THIS”…  Wolfboro, NH… is the reason my husband chose to live in St. Augustine, FL.  St. Augustine = The Nation’s Oldest City.  Wolfboro = The Nation’s Oldest Summer Resort.  Both locations are gorgeous, quaint tourist towns bordering…”water”.

I am, also, happy to report that Southwest Airlines made the list as a #1 TEAM at numberoneteam.net, as well.  On the flight “TO” NH, we experienced a medical emergency on board, shortly after take-off.  A male passenger, presumably a doctor, attended to the individual and monitored his status the entire flight.  GREAT JOB, Mr. passenger, medical responder.

And the flight crew?  They handled the situation so calmly and professionally.  I was amazed by their poised response to such an emergency “IN” flight.  “HATS OFF” to that entire crew.  GO TEAM!!!

And the full cabin of us passengers?  Everyone remained calm, as well.  The isle was crowded with airline staff and medical equipment aiding the ill passenger.  NOT ONE PASSENGER, I  R-E-P-E-A-T… “NOT ONE PASSENGER”… complained about receiving the snacks and/or drinks later than expected as a result of the in-flight medical emergency!!!  GO TEAM!!! The ailing passenger was checked by EMS upon our arrival into Manchester and he declined transport to the hospital for  additional care.

The return flight to Orlando was without incident.  PLUS… we landed about 30 minutes EARLY!!!  WOOOOOO-WHOOOOOO!!!  GO TEAM SOUTHWEST AIRLINES!!!  HATS-OFF to the pilot and co-pilot, as well as the supporting crew aboard that flight.

Busy, busy day TODAY, Sat., 7/26/14.  We had a tremendous vacation.  It is, however, good to be home.  Household duties have been resumed!!!  Church was AMAZING tonight!!!  AND… I am FINALLY blogging again!!!

Shhhhhh… Chase is so, so tired.  He had to get himself unpacked from vaca in NH and then re-packed for a Boyscout Leadership camping trip at Camp Shands… somewhere… “Over There, Over There…,  by Gainesville, FL   S-O-M-E-W-H-E-R-E!!!  They will be leaving for that trip early tomorrow, Sun., 7/27/14!!!  :/  WELCOME HOME CHASE!!!  Now, get yourself psyched and ready for leadership training!!!

It is GOOD to be home.  I needed a nap earlier, but DID NOT GET ONE.  My head aches, folks.  I have got to get to bed!!!  Goodnight.

GO TEAM!!!  WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!!

Please give the BEST of yourself for “JUST” today… “EVERY” day!!!
