A “LOOK” INSIDE…

People tend to “judge” others on superficial characteristics. That FIRST impression is the one that “matters most,” right?  Isn’t that what we’ve all been told?  Well, I disagree.  Folks, we are all  struggling each day, simply seeking to survive “LIFE”.  Everyone has their own personalized plate of “stuff”.  NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!!

The way people are treated has a huge impact on the person they become.  You can see this everyday.  Look at those individuals who are spoken “down” to…don’t they seem to shrink or wither away in terms of their noted presence?  SOMEBODY, SOMEWHERE… will be forming  negative  impressions of them .  Those individuals, however, who are nurtured tend to grow bigger in all areas, such as, confidence, presence, contribution, etc.  This will result in positive impressions, right?

Treating individuals with common respect allows them  opportunity for personal growth.  Isn’t that what we want?  People coming out of their shells to be all that they can be as opposed to withering away due to disrespect?  Think about that hard, folks.  Helping other individuals to gain confidence, simply by being treated with the respect they deserve, strengthens ALL of those teams to which they belong.  Aaahhh!!!  Strength.  Strong individuals.  Strong teams.  SUCCESS!!!

SUCCESS!!!  That is what we ALL want, right?  WE ARE ALL IN IT TO WIN IT, RIGHT???  P.H.P., folks.  People Helping People.  EVERYONE…giving the BEST of themselves for “JUST” today…EVERYDAY!!!

Folks, I am asking EVERYONE… to please take a good look at yourself.  Do you nurture your teammates, encouraging personal growth, thereby resulting in TEAM growth?  Or do you belittle or “talk down” to them, thereby stiffling their personal growth which hinders TEAM growth?

THIS IS HUGE, FOLKS.  WE HAVE THAT ABILITY TO STRENGTHEN ALL OF THOSE TEAMS TO WHICH WE EACH BELONG…BY ENCOURAGING PERSONAL GROWTH.  HOW???  SIMPLY BY TREATING ALL OF YOUR TEAMMATES WITH THE RESPECT THEY DESERVE!!!  (Those who don’t deserve your respect…need it the MOST!!!)

GO TEAM!!!  WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!!

ANOTHER CRAZY DAY…

A former post dealt with my “craziness” and what, EXACTLY… I will do for my daughter!!!  THIS post will touch upon what, EXACTLY… I will do for my husband!!!  😉

Okay, folks… HERE WE GO!!!  My husband has been RIGHT beside my son…EVERY-STEP-OF-THE-WAY!!!  In Boyscouts.  From a little Cub to a, now, Life Scout.  Boy, what a journey this has been!!!

Saturday, 2/8/14 started the morning off with my 2 “scouts” heading off to sell camp-cards at a local grocery store.  Guess what???  Chris called me at home, requesting that I drive “something” over to their location that he had “accidentally” forgotten.  Folks, “THIS”…HAPPENS EVERY TIME!!!  I AM SERIOUS!!!  EVERY TIME my guys leave for a Boyscout function, Chris ALWAYS calls me to request that I bring him something!!!

I stopped cleaning, grabbed his wallet, and headed straight to their location!  Dressed in pajamas ONLY, no sandals, un-combed hair (bed-head!), no make-up, morning breath, AND… UN-BRUSHED TEETH!!!  BED-TEETH???  (I just made that word up;)

Do you see the STRIKING resemblance to that early morning back in November, 2013 when I raced out to the High School to pick up my sick, 16 year-old daughter…BEFORE school started???  OMG!!!  NOT AGAIN!!!  A Family member contacts me in need… AND I WILL BE THERE!!!  QUICKLY!!!  Please refer to that post dated 11/26/13.  I got a chuckle while re-reading it!!!  🙂

I could just “picture” it…being pulled over by a cop for “something” stupid, getting myself arrested…AND…HAVING PROOF… of just what I would do for my husband!!!  VIA A MUGSHOT!!!  How FUNNY!!! CRAZED, DISSHEVELED wife in pajamas ONLY, un-combed hair, No make-up, morning breath, and un-brushed teeth hauled off to jail after minor traffic violation !!!

BUT… that was not the case.  I made it there and back home without incident!  Boy, I sure made a point to stress the “craziness” of this similarity to that of Danielle’s time of need!  I am simply amazed by exactly “WHAT”… I will do for my family.  You just call…AND…I WILL BE THERE…QUICKLY!!! Without a cause for concern over what I must have looked like…racing in to “SAVE THE DAY”!!!

GO TEAM ALLEN!!!  WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!!
