ADDENDUM…to “FLYING…UNDER THE RADAR”…

Ssshhh…

SECRET.  SECRET.  SECRET!!!

I have noticed an interesting C-O-I-N-C-I-D-E-N-C-E…

MOST, if not ALL, of those…”OTHER PEOPLE’S” battles I had always inserted myself into…”to fix a problem”…occurred at about the same time…EVERY MONTH!!!  HA!  DOUBLE HAHA!!!

I AM ONTO “SOMETHING” HERE, FOLKS!

We, as women, can be a bit “irritable,” more-so-than-usual, at “CERTAIN” times of…THE MONTH!!!  HA!  DOUBLE HAHA!!!  THERE, I SAID IT!!!  Yep ladies, those “lovely” monthly cycles we get to experience!  P.M.S.!!!   Perhaps…“MENOPAUSE”!?!?!?  Perhaps this could have something…maybe a LITTLE something…to do with our difficulties at work…OR…IN LIFE?

I, repeatedly, request my doctor to run “tests”.  Serious.  I KNOW that I am going through “something”!   He says that I am not going through menopause…YET!!!  And I am not kidding, folks.  I keep asking my doctor to run “tests”…checking me out…

WOW!!!  I have got to stop right here.  OMG!!! (OH, my gosh!!!)  DOUBLE OMG, OMG!!! (Oh, my gosh!!!  Oh, my gosh!!!)  Is it possible that I am STILL “looking” to find something wrong with myself?  Hhhmmm.  DOUBLE Hhhmmm.  Hhhmmm!  A  quick… “NOTE TO SELF” (ME.  Jill!)…

“QUIT LOOKING FOR SOMETHING WRONG!!!”  Right?  Keep looking and my mind will eventually “FIND” something OR “MAKE” it up!

This is quickly leading me to the “topic” for another post:  “Perhaps our “inner turmoil” leads to medical crises”…???  Toss THAT idea around.  Hungry?  Chew on THAT for a bit!!!

THIS post, however, is meant to “remind” EVERYONE…EVERYONE…that women can be a little, let’s say, MOODY at times!  😉  It’s the MONTHLY CURSE, right ladies?  And that’s Alright.  GOD MEANT FOR US TO BE THIS WAY!!!  AMEN!!!  We, as women, ADD “SPICE” TO LIFE!!!  😉

LIFE IS GOOD!  GOD IS GREAT!!!

GO TEAM!!!  WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!!

FLYING…”UNDER THE RADAR”…

THIS IS SOOOOO FUNNY…

Do you remember that post…WAY back when…I spoke of trying to solve all of my co-workers’ problems?  A.K.A.:  “Policing the Rehab. Dept.” by “jumping” in to “fix it” mode when people complained…about anything on the job!  (Oh, and I still have that fake badge with photo ID, but I rarely use it anymore.)  Yep, I WOULD TRY TO “FIX” those problems people didn’t really want fixed!  They were just complaining to…”feel”…better…I guess!!!  MY trying to “fix” things, however, ALWAYS…ALWAYS…seemed to backfire and get ME in trouble!!!  Boy, I would sure fight everyone else’s battles for them, though.  Until…Nena…

One of our “fun” topics at work is how I have ALWAYS had a “CRUSH” on my co-worker, Nena.  A “GIRL” crush!!!  Since the very day she came in and interviewed for her position.  This is a true story, folks.  And so, so funny!  EVERYBODY knows that Nena is my girl-crush at work!  Even my husband knows this!  Yep, I have a few “crushes,” as a matter of fact.  Perhaps I may disclose them…LATER!!!  Anyways ( I got side-tracked ), Nena gave me some VERY good advice awhile back:

“You just ought to do what I do,” she said “and fly under the radar.”  Now, Nena is GORGEOUS!!!  And tiny.  Thin… and a bit…short…er-than-most…BUT…GORGEOUS!!!  She did this, swan-dive like thing with her arm as she said…”fly under…the radar…” that was absolutely hysterical!!!  And, of course, it stuck!!!   We now do actual on-land, total-body, swan-dive demonstrations while indicating the need to “fly under…the radar”.  Just do your own job.  Try to go “unnoticed”!!!  DO NOT MAKE ANY WAVES!!!

THIS REALLY WORKS, folks!  I don’t get involved with everybody’s “work” issues anymore.  And somehow…most of those battles don’t seem as important to fight anymore.  Life is difficult.  And sometimes…complaining just might be the easy way to get some compassion from co-workers.  AND…
“THAT”… actually does help you to feel better!!!

So, the lesson learned???  Stress levels on the job would be greatly reduced if we just show a bit more tolerance of those things that “get under our skin” about things that really don’t matter…on the job.  Remember, I think “inner turmoil” is present in those individuals who are unable to identify those things that don’t really matter.  Toss that idea around for a bit…

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY JOB!!!  We are truly like a family there…ALL OF US.  We ALL get along.  WE WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM!!!

GO TEAM MCNRC!!!  WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!!
